BEACH JAZZ FESTIVAL in NAKAJIMA

Nakajima is a beautiful tiny island in Ehime which has clear blue sea and beaches. Takuya Ichinari who is a jazz drummer from Tokyo and I decided to have a Jazz festival on the beach. We supposed to collaborate with many artists in different fields such as belly dancer, Japanese traditional dancer, yoga instructor, local musicians and local food shops but unfortunately typhoon hit on the day and the event was cancelled.

Two goals
There were two goals. First is to have an influence on  people living in the big city by the tiny beautiful island. Especially it was after the pandemic of COVID-19 and at that time people started to doubt what is happiness and what is safeness. Tiny island apparently has nothing because they even don't have convenient stores. But actually they have rich nature life, strong community and cultures. 
Second is to have an influence on people in Ehime by polished performance. It happens often to small city that the members of artists and audiences are always same. And they don't have so many chances to meet various arts.
